Rambling around

Some pips here and there, no obvious trend, but there is no need for this, as long as the moves have more than 10-15 pips width.

Busy day

No time for trading today, I watched the charts for half an hour only, while price was moving slowly up, hesitating around some fibo lines.

And this

That's all for today.

Flat

I came late on this, while trend was exhausting. Whipsaws to taste. Total -6,8 pips.

Fibo 50

Got some additional pips while price was approaching the important fibo line. I always close an open trade on a situation like this. Didn't have the time to catch the reversal. Done for the day.

Pre-London

Risked some on first trade, the rest was easier.

Back

Back to the charts, after some spendid days in Tuscany.

On the road

That's all for today, I am leaving for Italy, no trades for the next few days.

And this

And the easy pips came (again) after the consolidation break. Done for the day.

Risk

Risked 12 p on the third trade, as i was certain that the higher low was imminent. Certainty is the sure way to perdition, not only on trading..

Way to go

...then range was broken and I had my easy pips.

That's a range, stupid!..

I came late to the monitors today, missing the nice move up around London opening. I insisted to trade inside the consolidation phase... a lot of pain for a 3,5 pips gain, payed more on commissions...

Friday's close

Closed early some trades and hesitated entering some others. Friday's close nervosity. Done for the day/week.

A nice pre-London

I am back to euro/yen pair, I missed its smooth, big and (very) technical moves. Like this one today : Price dropped smoothly to meet the fibo 62 of the hourly. I had the first trade on the rebound of this. Then price continued down nicely, giving some (relatively) easy pips.

Fibo etc.

The trades for today. Maximum risk was 12 pips. A total of 35 pips for this session.

The good and the bad

After a good (and easy) trade, there is always a danger for a really bad one. Like the second trade on this : I re-entered short while all indicators gave signs of exhaustion. Risked a lot and finally closed in panic with a small loss. Pure luck. Total 25 pips for this session, done for the day.

Rectangle again

Switched to eurjpy when I saw this long rectangle forming after Tokyo close. Entered a little bit prematurely, the higher low that followed my entry kept me in the trade. Second trade entered on CCI divergence AND price kicking the upper bolinger on hourly chart.

And this

Love Mondays

A vivid Monday's London opening (for a change). Because of the late entry I risked 10 pips on the first trade, to make 21. Mediocre 2nd and 3rd. Closed the last one on the (expected) reaction of 1.36.

Range charts

This market surprises me every day.. On Friday afternoon, i was writing that "1,35 will be tough". So I closed the pc at that moment to pack for the weekend. A spectacular break of 1,35 followed, very uncommon for a Friday afternoon and the market closed some150 pips above this landmark... I wasn't there to profit from this.

I was contemplating afterwards the range 4 chart of this afternoon and i was amazed how many easy signals we could have with a simple cci 50 only (100/-100 line cross). Of course it was an easy to spot, one-way market. Entries are on blue vertical lines.

Music of my youth

The best of late 20th century music, the famous ECM label, is now available on Emusic for downloading. ECM collected the best music and musicians in Europe, but also worldwide, in the last 30-40 years. But their discs were expensive and never on sale. Some 15-20 years ago I remember me paying the equivalent of 60 euros for this Koln Concert double cd. Now it's available, for LEGAL downloading, for 1,20 euros only...Don't pay the (overpriced) iTunes hype..

Post -NFP trades

That's all for today. No much room for further trades, 1.35 will be tough.

15 minutes session

I came late to this, missing the nice move up after ECB announcement. So I took one contra trade and some in the good direction, with rolling tight stops behind the price to keep gains. I closed charts after this to go walking and missed the next big leg up who followed. I don't complain, +6,2% on account in 15 minutes of trading.

An eternity and a day

My morning session. Entries were not the best possible, I kept in the second one, trusting the strong base of 1.3303. Risked 10 pips to make 14, it took an eternity to move in one direction. Second dull London opening in a row, price staled again in front of the hourly median bollinger.

Textbook entry

My best entry/exit today. I did not re-enter after this because of the close support line of the hourly chart.

Hourly stuff again

Price found some resistance at median Bollinger of the hourly (around 1.3360), gave small losses and then some pips.

Never play with Fibonacci

Second trade was taken close to Fibo 50% (hourly) and got the rebound in the face. Closed early enough, at least.
